Welcome to the Sisters in Crime Grand Canyon Writers community!

Although you write alone, you don’t have to be alone. We are dedicated to the success of our members, offering education, support, mentorship, camaraderie, information, and connections.

The Sisters in Crime Grand Canyon Writers chapter welcomes both published and aspiring authors, writers in all stages of their careers and all genres, readers, fans, libraries, bookstores, publishing professionals, and all other individuals who have an interest in the business of writing and publishing. We are pleased to have you join us and we proudly share the benefits of both the Sisters in Crime Grand Canyon Writers and the international Sisters in Crime organization with all members.

  • The Sisters in Crime Grand Canyon Writers chapter is a chartered chapter of our national parent organization, Sisters in Crime, Inc. (SinC, Inc.). The charters each Sisters in Crime chapter sign grant us the right to operate as a chapter. The charters require that each member of all Sisters in Crime chapters is also a member of the national Sisters in Crime organization. This protects the use of the Sisters in Crime name, their trademarks, professional standards, etc.
  • Sisters in Crime, Inc. offers dozens of benefits to all chapter members, including grants and scholarships, educational classes for writers, and much more—as part of that membership. For details, please see the “55 Benefits of Membership” on this website.
  • Membership in both the Sister in Crime Grand Canyon Writers chapter and Sisters in Crime, Inc. runs the calendar year, from January 1st through December 31st, each year, and must be renewed annually. (Please note: if you join Sisters in Crime Grand Canyon Writers after October 1st of a given year, your dues payment will cover the last three months of that year and the following year’s dues, too.)
